Apple Time Machine

  1. Has anyone found a way to back up a Time Machine? I haven't really rolled up my sleeves yet but I assume it's possible?? I'll hit up the Apple forums if I don't get an answer here quickly.

Q: Why do I want so desperately to back up a back up??

A: Apple Time Machines only have ONE HDD inside...

  2. Networked?
    USB?
    Bluetooth?

All you need to do is add another HD to your system via USB and then use Apple Finder to copy and paste the root folder of the time machine onto the new HD.

  4. You can tell Time Machine to back up to multiple drives, suggest one locally attached and another across a network. (it is trickier to restore from the network one).
