Wherever you simply "trust" a software firm, Microsoft is there to covertly monetize the situation. It's a pattern now. There must be a dedicated team at Microsoft looking for these situations. Bing doesnt exist anymore, it is using google for the backend. Did msft take over alphabet? Does alphabet let its clients make custom midifications to search results?
Hacking vulnerabilities have been found at MS office products, including Word and PowerPoint. Telling it straight - nowadays, you can replace many office products with good open source (free) products. No need to pay yearly fee... Then, Linux is getting into the desktop sphere progressively. Micrsoft will have it harder in future, then it used to be. There was that run for cloud services, like aws, MS azure aso, but even that comes slightly to a saturation.
Maybe for private use but in bus. there is nothing comparable to azure and local domains with windows regarding managed it structure. Name a fortune 100 company that has linux as their standard. Even Mac OS, the closest to be a polished and structured linux sucks in that regard.
Had Linux, was painful to run a video game. Not saying that i would buy MSFT at these levels either, all priced in, - decades ahead .Unless it crashes some 80%~. Which ain't gonna happen any time soon.
