I was not in the markets during that era. I can only sense the era we have been in since I have been in it. No Fed, no uptrend!

 

Follow the money printing (Fed, red line of course) no longer rising is good enough to have (SPX, in black OHLC) ..... drop. Ratio indicator trendline break at bottom too:-
