Accelerationism is one way but the other side has the guns....so in this case it's the wrong way.

None, but we did get a more progressive nominee in 2008 who significantly cut the uninsured rate.

After Hillary lost we got a nominee who promised police reform, medicare option for all, free college,15.00 minimum wage, block fracking, make weed legal etc.

We now know he was lying his ass off about all of the above but we did get a candidate who promised to be far more progressive than Gore or Hillary and even Obama.

Since he was lying his ass off its time for another 2000/2016 strike. This one will be bigger though as unlike Nader and Stein West appeals to not just progressives but also blacks.

Just another confirmation that the extremist left can only scream and run away when confronted by adverse opinion. And if that does not work, ignore and block and cancel. Oh, and humor, the arch enemy of the left. Can't joke about queers but denigrating an entire religion is ok. Hypocrisy.

By your logic, Obama was lying his ass off too, he promised public option, action on bankers, stop fracking, closing GITMO and yada yada yada - there is a huge list on politifact.

And then we got Trump, so a more progressive nominee leads to a Republican in the next election cycle.

You see, I can use flimsy logic as well. You ignore everything that's done, harp on things that didn't get done (weed legal? what?) and then promote people who have done nothing in their lives for anyone other than themselves. Cornel West is a troll who is addicted to attention like Trump just like the Green Party funded by Russians and Republicans.

While he didn't get the public option Obama did cut the uninsured rate around half,Biden nowhere near close to that.

No action on bankers but he did pass Dodd-Frank which would have prevented the recent bank failures.

The difference between Obama and Biden is Obama did make significant progress on some of his promises.

If Biden had cut the uninsured rate in half or passed police reform I would be voting, volunteering and donating to him in 2024 as I did in 2020.

A committed communist, Thälmann played a major role during the political instability of the Weimar Republic, especially in its final years, when the KPD explicitly sought to overthrow the liberal democracy of the republic.

The KPD under Thälmann's leadership regarded the Social Democratic Party (SPD) as its main adversary and the party adopted the position that the social democrats were "social fascists".

Thälmann declared in December 1931 that "some Nazi trees must not be allowed to overshadow a forest" of social democrats

Thälmann was shot on Adolf Hitler's personal orders in Buchenwald in 1944.

There is no healthcare reform to be done other than the public option which is not going to get passed unless Democrats have 60 votes in the Senate.

It's one thing to not volunteer and vote for Biden, it's another thing to go full Thalmann and allowing "some Nazi trees must not be allowed to overshadow a forest" of social democrats.

Also you completely ignored Cuddles point on the Supreme Court. Tankies simply don't do well on nuance.

  10. Like when you ran away from the discussion about a creator, claiming that no physicist could conclude a creator doesn't exist? But when I introduced Stephen Hawking's final analysis that a creator god simply cannot exist, you just ignored the point. Stephen Hawking? One of the most brilliant theoretical physicists in history? No comment?

The hypocrisy is that a so-called "Christian" would make fun of someone who was born different than what they're comfortable with. Because that's what Jesus would do, right?
