Did Trump screw over Puerto Rico with his bond comments?

  1. I'll be honest and put this out for everyone -- I do not like Trump. I think he's an idiot. The thing is, he's also the POTUS and what he says can carry huge implications. Unfortunately, I don't think he realizes to what extent his words can rattle markets, etc.

  2. Populist Trump in full swing one assumes, say anything to appease in the now expecting they will forget or be otherwise bamboozled by even more hyperbole.

One might imagine the markets will get used to it though anyone who trades Oil knows that may not happen, any tiny thing startles the market.

It will be worth watching guys like this. https://www.cnbc.com/2017/10/04/hed...s-nearly-1-billion-of-puerto-ricos-bonds.html

Of course it could be Steve Mnuchin playing games or possibly breathing into a paper bag, time will tell.
