Has anyone heard anything? I head exchanges plan to charge everyone, retail or pro, 1000s for stock data. Maybe it is fake news.

Not for display market data. The higher fees are for non-display. If you have an API or hosted solution where MD leaves the GUI.

Hold the phone here. You're saying that a brokerage like IB is going to have to start passing on ludicrous data charges just because you access data from their TWS through a socket???

That is what the NYSE, Nasdaq and OPRA want.

what they want and how things will play out eventually may be two completely different stories. Let's when it happens but no point in rocking the boat now. Not any firm I know of other than you guys breathe down peoples' neck re non-display charges. Is your CEO monetarily benefiting from collecting non-display fees?

  9. This will be the end of retail, if it happens. What a way to end it all.

We were audited by the NYSE so had to comply. Others will have to also. Just a matter of time.
