Yeah you just proved my point the workforce of these tech companies today are not made up of that generation. Its workforce is lot younger and it's largely made up of people who are either born and raised here or people who have lived all their lives here, naturalized citizens. Either way, like I said, they are Americans, not immigrants, migrants or refugees. If China wants them, US and the West are more than happy to send them China's way.

You are wrong. China does and everything that it does points to that. If it just wants to make money, WHY is it busting its a$$ investing in this "One Belt One Road" project specifically excluding all of the western nations that will create an economic, political, military alliance specifically among all those countries? WHY is it the only country in the world that does this global project? China is not the only rich country in the world.

US is #1. What's your point? China wants to change that obviously? To become world's #1 leader like how you put it perhaps? :sneaky: Homeless people exist everywhere regardless of the wealth level of a country. Some people live on the street as a lifestyle choice. Don't pass judgement on something that you have no idea about. And speaking of spending money on defense instead of its own people's well-being, try to look up how many people in China died, starved to death when its beloved Chairman Mao decided to develop nuclear weapons in the '50s? And this was when China was a 3rd-world country with its economy at a level nowhere near the wealth level of US today. And you are picking on US spending on defense projects instead o the homeless? LOL

Bad short term, but fuck Chinese land grabs/concentration camps. Doubt Xi blinks, but he's not dealing w/a silly clown anymore.

It will hurt green energy, semiconductors, EV industry though.

Sure China was not a threat when China was weaker.... If your neighbor run successfully to be the local city official, do you suddenly feel the threat?

You made such a scary scenario of this kido's 2 minute video. You could say the top secrete Pentagon document was present in the background.... Or whatever you want to make it so serious.

You really know nothing about WeChat. Its payment feature would not work overseas since users would have to be digital verified. If you do not have a local China bank account, you can't do any financial transactions. Of course Trump ordered to remove those apps from US app stores.

I'm sure US high tech industry will lag behind if we ban all those immigrants. This will never happens really.

You are so wrong here. The rich countries do not even want help from China. So China is only interested in working with the developing countries.

    Good imagination for argument's sake....

China is a threat because China wants world domination and does not share the same value and beliefs as the US and the West. I hope this clarified things more.

No. But if this neighbour is a mafia crime boss or a street gang leader known for not respecting humanity, then yes I would be deeply concerned or "feel the threat" as how you put it if he/she all of sudden became the mayor who will be governing very intimate aspects of my life and my family's lives.

    FT Article:

Xi and Washington’s China hawks unite against Chinese tech IPOs in US

When both camps unite together for the same thing, it speaks very loud and stands out. This is just the fall-out from the de-coupling, nothing else. I sense a lot of those China ADRs may voluntarily de-list. There is no future. A lot of liabilities.

So your neighbor is a threat to you if they do not share the same value as you do? So you want to challenge them, dominate them and lead your neighborhood with sticks?

Nobody cares about a 2-minute TikTok video. Only you and Mr. Trump care about it....

If he/she wants to become the mayor governing very intimate aspects of my life and my family's lives, yes, especially like I said, when he/she is a mafia crime boss or a street gang leader known for not respecting humanity, otherwise, no but would still be concerned and feel uneasy like how the world feels towards Iran right now.

And no US does not want to dominate China or lead with sticks, just wants to be guarded a little bit and convince others to be guarded a little bit as well when dealing with China. China is being paranoid about that as expressed by you and that is unfortunate.

I actually don't care about any TikTok videos either but one can never be too careful.

Enjoy your obsession with China. We get more important things to do.

We'll certainly get more peace when the de-coupling continues. Both China and US live their own ways.... You can certainly close your border like what Trump attempted to do, but failed.

Yeah like I told you we don't give a s*** about Chinese companies listing in the US. If I can make money trading them, if not, I couldn't care less. If they lie and commit fraud, that's something else. There have been problems with Chinese companies who listed with US exchanges that turn out to be frauds costing US investors hundreds of millions of dollars, in retirement savings even, so not shedding a tear for not seeing those companies on the US exchanges. Buy America!!!
