Farmland Partners Inc. REIT that owns farmland (mostly annual crops like corn, soybeans, wheat, etc...) in the U.S. 155,000 acres in 15 states. 26 crop types. Recent legal issues/costs behind them soon. Entering a new farmland management business. Appears to be breaking out of a bullish flag. Much cheaper IMO than LAND (similar REIT but mostly permanent crops). ***Long and added friday.
i like fpi chart. could it be due to food prices going up with inflation? i see kr, cost, and wmt breaking out.
i'm loving fpi action today 4/19/22. i'm tempted to trade it. the volume is less than half a million. less than ideal for me. i feel this stonk could be one of those pump and dump stonk. i have to tread carefully on this one.
Scaled in 14.5-15. Sold that "scale-in" today but held core position. Looking to add back in on a drop towards 15 again. ***Earnings were "OK" yesterday. ***Daily chart below.
CEO Paul Pittman comments after decent earnings report & positive comments about the future. "we're probably trading in the neighborhood of $1.50 a share below net asset value." ***My largest equity position. https://seekingalpha.com/article/45...olio_content_unit|section_asset:latest|line:1
