I used it in the past, no complaints. Solid company that's been around for a long time. I moved on only because of multi leg options trading and global equity access, but IG it's good enough for FX, cfd's, some equities and etf's, they also offer different types of accounts, like DMA or spread betting if you are in the UK.
I have heard some very good reviews about this broker, though I have not traded with them personally. You can definitely try out their demo account and decide for yourself.
