<strong>IB Execution Quality Ranked #1 for both US Stock and US Option Trades by The Transaction Auditing Group</strong>
IB executions continue to outperform the industry. Based on independent measurements, the Transaction Auditing Group, Inc. (TAG), a third-party provider of transaction analysis, has determined that during the first half of 2012:<ul type="disc"> <li>Interactive Brokers' US stock executions (for all market orders of 100 shares or more up to 10,000 shares) showed price improvement of 33 cents per 100 shares better than the industry as a whole.1</li> <li>Interactive Brokers' US option executions (included all market orders for all order sizes and exchange rebates received by customers under IB's cost-plus pricing structure) showed price improvement of 19 cents per contract better than the industry as a whole.1 </li> <li>Interactive Brokers European stock executions showed price improvement of €1.24 per 100 shares better than the industry as a whole.2 <a href="http://www.interactivebrokers.com/mkt/index.php?src=elite15&url=/ibview/3q2012.php">more</a></li>

  2. are you still occupying Wall Street like the ads on cnbc and Bloomberg say you are?

  3. I was down there the other day, and one of your cartoon characters was holding up a sign telling me to sell covered calls.

I went over to the options forum on ET and several knowledgable posters advised me that that might not be such a good idea.

    What's the deal?

  4. Do we get a discount on our commissions if we go down there and hold up a sign?

How else do you get people to do it?

  5. It's a little late for Labor Day, will you be having a Thanksgiving special?

  6. haha.

  7. 10 years ago it used to be a first class operation, now when I see the ads on tv I'm a little embarrassed to admit that is who I still trade with

    +1

sick and tired of those "enhancements"..

  9. I appreciate upgrades to the IB system. I have been a critic in the past, but also try to balance with positives when I see them. They advertise, on tv. So what? I am not a fan of the concepts behind one of the ads, but they are a business, and part of what they do is expand their customer base. If they have caused you an issue post it and explain. But mindless attacks because they are expanding what they offer, I just don't get it.
Again, take this post as you will. I have been a critic of IB often in the past, and will be when I have a problem and that phone doesn't get answered, but since I reopened an account with IB I have experienced pretty good customer service. I would still like a quicker response, and I would hesitate to run my riskier trade plans, as if something goes wrong I need the phone answered now, but for everyday trading, things have been good.

it would be ok to have some "upgrades" but after old issues are fixed. so far-every day, everywhere i poke in TWS all i see is a bugs. lame, odd and ridiculous bugs. lots of them.like no one ever checked, what they actually produce...but hey..i'm not allowed to speak up about it anymore.. cause IB doesn't like the way i express myself about this topic..
