After I have an open long call position, I want to exit the trade via a GTC bracket order. Current px = $2, if it goes to $4 I want to Sell To Close via limit order. But, if it goes down to $1, I want to Sell To Close via a "stop market" order. I have seen a million videos on putting in an order to open with an attached OCO, but that is not what I want. I already have a position. Did I explain that properly? Can anyone steer me to a source to learn how to do this? I bet it is easy when you know how.
Don't trade options so maybe it doesn't apply but you want a limit @ $4 Stop Market @ $1 which is a OCO. Having a position has no bearing on using OCO. Here's a youtube vid showing how to (assuming again if this apply to options as well):- It's a good habit to use search over there for further queries.
That helped, thanks. I guess the reason I had a problem is that I assumed I could use the order entry function at the bottom of the Option Station Pro...but I guess you cannot enter an OCO order from there. Weird, if you ask me.
