Charts for es/ym quit working several hrs before
    the early close.

Not the first time this has happened.

  3. US equity markets closed today (Good Friday); so no cash market S&P 500 or DJIA today.

  4. ummm...you dudes hopeully and seriously did know that the CME futures index markets were only opened until around 8:00am CST...currency futures closed at 10:00am CST...tell me you knew before you traded...please

You need to edit timeframe to exclude market holiday on 4/2/10.

Create your own say, MY CME Globex timeframe and don't have 4/2/10 as holiday, then you'll see ES chart with today's data.

Right click on the chart, go to view > show tool bar and select it.

Then, click set time frame (yellow clock), choose edit timeframe.
make a copy of "CME Globex" call it say, MY CME, save it.

Choose MY CME as timeframe, edit timeframe, click on market holidays.
Remove Fri 4/2/10 from holiday list.

QT won't allow this to be removed from official timeframe and so you have to workaround it by creating your own timeframe.

    Regards.
