    Post your favorite scan parameters

    Some of my favorite filters:

    • 52-week highs
    • Price range $15 - $40/share
    • Minimum ATR 1point
    • Volume increases, eg >20% recent day higher volume
    • Above recent 50/200 SMA

Sites like stockcharts.com and finviz.com are useful too

    Kudos to you KCalhoun!!!

Personally, I couldn’t imagine sharing my favorite stock filter.

However, since I too used to play tenor sax back in the day (not so badass), I thought I’d share my favorite sax solos (briefly off topic) in no particular order, which are... Candy Dulfer: Pick Up the Pieces live at Leverkusener Jasstage; Mike Brecker: Funky Sea Funky Dew live in Roslyn, NY; Grover Washington Jr: Mr. Magic live at the Bijou; Eric Leeds: Mutiny and High Fashion on The Family album; and Junior Walker and the Allstars: What Does It Take.

  4. Nice Scan Ken! One of my ways is looking for highs blowing past regret zones or previous walls with great volume and earnings blowout. NIO is a perfect example, bought once we blew past $23.
