"...the same treatment". God, I hope so! The Fox debate was so well done, why can't Fox offer to do a Demo debate just like the Repub one. And let's see if Hillary and Bernie will go for it. Do you think Joe will throw his hat in the ring by late Fall or Early winter? I think he will. He has a lot of friends urging him to get in.

I think I may have identified the Fiorina problem. She's in the wrong party, in this sense: wives, according to the Bible, are supposed to obey their husbands. Red State Republicans are not going to cotton to a bitch. It's positively unchristian, and in their eyes, anti-Amuricun.

I'd love to see Fiorina jello wrestle Trump, both wearing Bikinis. If properly promoted, that would way out sell the Fox Circus. PBS could use it as a fund raiser for their Great Performances Series.

Ignoring the fact that Canada held its own debate this past week with the four candidates for Prime Minister. (Well, actually Canada is ignoring that it held its own debate this past week, it didn't even make the front page of most of the local papers.)

What is the lead article in the Canadian papers... commentary on the U.S. Republican debate. Usually the theme is along the lines of comparing the U.S. debate to a circus.

I will leave you with this example from the National Post - Circus Comes To Town

(and yes, I am staying in Toronto for several weeks straight while my family is all visiting Germany. I have gotten to see the Pan Am games, Caribana / OVO festival, and now the Para Pan Am games starting this weekend. All taking place around downtown Toronto. Seeing the politics in the papers is amusing.)

Please note that the source of the data is supposedly the CDC, but the source of this bogus chart is NOT given!!!

For those who want the real numbers on deaths from abortion, go here:

    http://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/preview/mmwrhtml/ss6015a1.htm?s_cid=ss6015a1_w

The actual data given by the CDC in their Reports is summarized in:

TABLE 25. Number of deaths and case-fatality rates for abortion-related deaths reported to CDC, by type of abortion — United States, 1972–2006, on Pg 38 of the CDC MMWR Report, Vol 60(1) Feb. 25,2011.

The total deaths from abortion, legal and illegal, [all races] reported by the CDC for the period 1972-2006 was 407, not 13 Million! as reported for blacks alone in the posted chart. One can't be sure, but probably the chart number of deaths from abortion is including all abortions, since there are lunatics that believe even a fertilized egg is a human being. (One of these lunatics wants to be President of the United States. He has no trouble with the military going around killing millions, encourages wild military spending and calls himself a "Christian", but he says aborting a fertilized egg is murder!!

Reporting all abortions as deaths, and trying to tie the number of those "deaths" to CDC data is reprehensible.

from pg 36 of the same CDC report cited above...

"Several factors have been suggested to explain the reason a
greater proportion of black women and adolescents obtained
an abortion after the initial weeks of pregnancy. Because
women with low incomes frequently need additional time
to raise the necessary funds and make arrangements for an
abortion), some of the delays among black women
might be related to their higher poverty rates. Delays
among adolescents might reflect the fact that they often take
longer to suspect and then confirm they are pregnant
and might take longer to arrange an abortion because of
parental involvement laws. In addition, certain pregnant
adolescents approaching age 18 years wait until they are old
enough to obtain an abortion without parental involvement
    thereby delaying their procedure.

The annual number of deaths associated with known legal induced abortions during 1997–2006 was 57% lower, on aveage, than during 1972–1981. In 2006, six women [all races and ethnic groups] died from causes known to be associated with legal abortion, and none died as a result of known illegal abortions. "

The earlier an abortion, the less the chance of serious complications . I needn't point out the obvious, but I will anyway. Those who oppose abortion, by their opposition are actually contributing to the deaths of women (mostly young women). By limiting access, opposing approval of effective drugs such as mifepristone, and throwing up all manner of hurdles, these misguided "pro-life" lunatics, who think a fertilized egg is a human being, are responsible for abortions being performed later in the gestation period, when earlier is much better. Even worse, they are contributing to the problem of unwanted babies being born. What is wrong with these, mostly male, lunatics, don't they have any compassion or respect for Women?

Shit, that's how you get them elected in today's climate! If it isn't celebrity, it's just a yawner to the majority of the population...quite unfortunately. People should actually look into the politicians they vote for (at least if the politicians have prior voting records), and not just listen to their talking points, which are usually nothing more than platitudes, and often outright lies.
