After 20 years in the trading and trading education business, I have almost seen it all. Unfortunately, most of what I have seen regarding seminars, courses, books, chat rooms, trading rooms, etc. fall under the category "crap". My motivation for this Thread is as follows: - I want to demonstrate that it is really possible to make a living by trading. - I want to demonstrate that trading does not has to be over complicated. - I want to demonstrate that trading can be very easy, but unfortunately very hard to do. - I want to demonstrate that "discipline" (with all the facets) makes the difference. - I want to give valid recommendations regarding every aspect of trading. In this Thread I am focusing on Futures Spread Trading. My other Thread is about Day Trading. Good Trading! Andy Jordan
My current results. You will notice, that I wasn't very active in 2021 with the spreads. But I want to get more active again this years.
https://www.cmegroup.com/education/courses/understanding-futures-spreads.html BTW: Any "beginner" should visit the CMEGROUP web page and look at there free material. Very often much better then the ones you can buy from education web sites.
100% agree People are spending tons of money on Futures trading courses when the CMEGROUP websites has some very good courses.
I was referring to your graph. It's showing Sept & Dec corn so thought that's the spread trade you were in? You bought Dec vs. short Sept? If not, what's the trade you're showing?
