Trading Software Proxy

Anyone had any luck using a proxy server to get trading software to run in a corporate environment?

 

I'm assuming you're trying to run trading software on your workstation in a work environment that has a proxy.

What I do is run an ssh tunnel to my home pc and do a remote desktop session into my trading computer. This has been documented countless times on this site.
