Im having a bit of hard time understanding this Why does sometimes price move alot on low volume And other times price moves very little on alot of volume cant make sense of it for some reason
It's like driving home in rush hour traffic. Roads are congested making progress slow. But take the same journey during off peak time and you move further, quicker. Same with markets. When no one is around, price moves further and quicker.
Yea but why does price move up alot for example when there is lower than average volume And other times i see the volume is above average for that stock but price is very small increase
By the way - I sent you a Private Message - about 20 days or so ago. I believe you are in the general Seattle area - I am on the Eastside - Bellevue area. Gave you my Skype Name. If you want to talk sometime - Skype me. If you have a hard time finding me on Skype - then send me your Skype Name - if you have one. I don't do Discord. The market opens in about an hour. ------------------------------------------------------------------ You should also check - "Open Interest" - along with Price and Volume. https://optimusfutures.com/tradeblo...rest-the-3-components-of-good-market-analysis
It is natural that there are problems at times with Skype - after all - MicroSUCK owns it. If you decide to come into Skype - use fctcloudrooms.
Float - the more regular shares a company has issued to the public that are available for investors to trade the harder it takes to move the stock or vice versa. This is daytrading 101 knowledge.
Float changes, at most, a couple of times a year and nothing to do with typical average volume or daytrading.
So its more to do with float and dilution than volume? Whats the purpose of volume then? Seems like its irrelevant to most of daytrading
