Cool, should be more than enough, sounds like a good rig.

 

If I were willing to spend the price for a new trading computer with 3-year on site warranty, I'd check this out first...

Dell Precision T5810... $799. Will run either W7 or W10.

(This is where I plan to look when it's time to replace my old computers with newer old computers.... for a price of ~$350-$400 each.)

yep, I left money on the table, but I was sold on the business' specialization in PC's for traders and their service. I just hope I do well enough in trading to overcome the extra cost. Fortunately the gov't will sponsor part of it as deductible business expense.

 

I'm not sure how CPU usage can be optimized via software outside the OS. Did they just remove the virus scanner?

 

They prob just overclocked it and said it was optimized for trading.
