My friend wants to try to stock trade. He needs a free demo stock trading platform. Can you help with it?
Well, since nobody has replied, paper and a pencil with Google Finance* works fine. Oh, he will need a calculator too. If he would rather go paperless, TDAmeritrade has unlimited demo and Investopedia too. *It has a Portfolio feature where one can put in prices with Buy/Sell, so I guess that would work too.
CNBC website -- free, available anywhere, *and* always has news. Nearly _nothing_ to learn. Takes 5 minutes to be up&running. I used it for several college classes, among students with no computer or econ/finance knowledge. A hoot to see the lights go on.....
I have just found this. If you sign up with others, could be fun to compete in a game: http://www.marketwatch.com/game/ Virtual Stock Exchange with live quotes....
Demo Trading is the best way to learn about the Forex Trading as it doesn't includes the risk of losing money.
