  1. why energy and mining stocks keep sinking for the past 2 months? even though the oil price is not sinking at all.

  2. likely due to prospects of upcoming slower worldwide economies.....and even China now looking shaky-at-best.

  3. but why oil price is not down?

  4. Likely a temporary supply glitch. Just wait, it'll be coming down a lot.

  5. Iran will be bringing on new supply by the fall.

It's not up either. Oil has to break thru $63-$65. Trying to catch the bottom of oil and materials is one of the more costly endeavors.

  8. Just use your head....commodities go up when there is inflation. Inflation occurs when there is more money chasing fewer goods. There is more money when people are getting paid more. THAT IS NOT HAPPENING. All of the jobs growth has been in the $15-20 per hour range. Salary increases for white collar workers are practically unheard of. Some people haven't had raises in years.

Clubber Lang and piezoe like this.
  9. Crude oil down 4% today alone. Has the rout started early ?

  10. Today, Bloomberg online had a great piece on base metals.....prices near 5 year lows......
