Israel court says book on killing non-Jews not incitement
No incitement investigation into book justifying killing of non-Jews, despite opposition from Jewish groups
    10.12.2015

    JERUSALEM

A book by hardline Israeli rabbis justifying the murder of non-Jews will not have to face charges of inciting violence, the Jerusalem High Court said.

Israeli newspaper The Jerusalem Post reported Thursday that the court ruled there was "no basis" for the charges, upholding a 2012 decision by Israel's Attorney General to not pursue a criminal investigation.

The Torat Hamelech (The King's Torah) was published in 2009 and sparked controversy and a debate on free speech by arguing that Jewish law allowed, in some cases, for Jewish people to kill non-Jews without being to court.

According to The Jerusalem Post, the book states that anyone who opposes "our kingdom" or encourages attacks against them can be killed, as can children "if there is a good chance they will grow up to be like their evil parents."

The Attorney General's 2012 decision argued that the book was a religious study and not aimed at encouraging individuals to violence, despite concern within Israeli society that it could lead to violence against Palestinians.

Several Jewish groups objected the groups, as did senior Rabbis, including the Israel Movement for Reform and Progressive Judaism, which petitioned the High Court to question why there have been no investigation for racial incitement.

Israeli blog Reform Judaism, which supported the petition, wrote in 2012 that the book was "a manual on how Jewish law can justify hate and violence."

"When the Mufti of Jerusalem gave a sermon about killing Jews, the State opened a criminal investigation in less than a week," the blog wrote. "When rabbis widely distribute their manual for violence to the masses, the State remains silent."

King's Torah splits Israel's religious and secular Jews

Recent protests in Israel highlight the differences between the country's religious and secular Jewish communities.

Hundreds of right-wing Jews have taken part in demonstrations outside Israel's Supreme Court over the brief detention of two prominent rabbis in the last few weeks.

There were clashes with police on horseback on the nearby Jerusalem streets and several arrests were made.

Rabbis Dov Lior and Yacob Yousef had endorsed a highly controversial book, the King's Torah - written by two lesser-known settler rabbis. It attempts to justify killing non-Jews, including those not involved in violence, under certain circumstances.

The fifth chapter, entitled "Murder of non-Jews in a time of war" has been widely quoted in the Israeli media. The summary states that "you can kill those who are not supporting or encouraging murder in order to save the lives of Jews".

At one point it suggests that babies can justifiably be killed if it is clear they will grow up to pose a threat.

Iranians are barbarians. This is what Israel does

Video obtained by CNN shows fliers being dropped by the IDF over the neighborhoods of Beit Hanoun and Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza, warning residents to evacuate their homes.

    Ooooh 1979?

The Israeli–Palestinian conflict has its origins in the rise of Zionism in the late 19th century in Europe, a movement which aimed to establish a Jewish state through the colonization of Palestine, synchronously with the first arrival of Jewish settlers to Ottoman Palestine in 1882.

1979 is when the Mullahs came to power in Iran and started funding, arming & directing terrorist proxies to destroy Israel. The Iranian regime has been been attacking Israel directly and indirectly since this time.

BTW -- Jews have been in Israel since before the time of Christ and well before Islam became a religion. Maybe you need to properly read your history.
