Yes, I imagine they would for a minute have acknowledged some prayers toward the victims in order to ease their evil conscious.
Sorry @gwb-trading you quoted this a moment ago and deleted it, what point did you think you were making? I must admit that's a bit of a brain sprain to read. Fixed it. “Some ultra-Orthodox Jews have been pushing for actions that violate the longstanding status quo agreement regarding the Temple Mount, a site that’s also claimed by Palestinians as part of a future two-state solution. Recently, much of the provocational behavior appears to be coming from the ultra-Orthodox side. What I’m suggesting is that Israel has a history of goading its adversaries into making the first aggressive move, only to respond forcefully afterward.”
Wasn't there just a post by you pointing back to that Bugenhagen post? Well, am half daft now anyway, been looking for a telescope for the wife's birthday as she wanted to become an astronomer once. Started at 12pm and I now hate telescopes. Dobsonians look cool though.
No, I did not make any post pointing back to a Bugenhagen post. Nor did I delete any post. I hope you find a good telescope as a present for your wife on her birthday with minimal additional frustration. I will agree that Dobsonian telescopes look cool and are well regarded.

American capatilists Wall Street Journal don't like Francesca.... Accountability for the U.N. The U.S. sanctions the notorious Francesca Albanese. ByThe Editorial Board July 9, 2025 https://www.wsj.com/opinion/frances...ions-marco-rubio-israel-antisemitism-4484dd68 Francesca Albanese, Human Rights Council Special Rapporteur United Nations staff rarely have to answer for their anti-Israel agenda, but the blue moon arrived Wednesday when the U.S. sanctioned U.N. Human Rights Council Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese. It’s about time. In a post on X.com, Secretary of State Marco Rubio wrote that Ms. Albanese had been involved in a “campaign of political and economic warfare against the United States and Israel.” The sanctions are a response, he wrote, to her “illegitimate and shameful efforts to prompt [International Criminal Court] action against U.S. and Israeli officials, companies and executives.” Mr. Rubio’s press statement notes that Ms. Albanese engaged directly with the ICC “in efforts to investigate, arrest, detain, or prosecute” Americans and Israelis, though neither country is a signatory to the Rome Statute, which established the ICC and determines its jurisdiction. She has advised the ICC to issue arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. Recently, she suggested the ICC investigate and prosecute corporations that are profiting from “Israel’s settler-colonial project.” UN Watch and other groups have closely tracked Ms. Albanese’s history of anti-Israel and antisemitic remarks. In 2014 she wrote that the U.S. is “subjugated by the Jewish lobby.” At a pro-Palestine conference in November 2022 that included members of Hamas, she told the audience they had a “right to resist” the Israeli “occupation.” She has equated Israel with Nazi Germany and called the U.S. “a nation founded upon genocide.” In May Ms. Albanese tweeted that the “Israel/U.S. joint venture” of humanitarian aid distribution effort was “concentration camp 2025” and “the worst humanity is capable of from the bastions of power.” At the U.N., Ms. Albanese called Israel’s war against Hamas “the escalatory phase of a longstanding settler colonial project of erasure.” The sanctions are pursuant to President Trump’s February executive order “Imposing Sanctions on the International Criminal Court” that urged “significant consequences on those responsible for the ICC’s transgressions.” The sanctions will prevent Ms. Albanese, an Italian citizen, from entering the U.S. The university encampments may miss her but we’d count that a good start. Perhaps the Administration will consider a similar approach for the rest of the U.N.’s antisemitic cabal.
