Attorney General's Bizarre Speech Threatens Those Critical Of Muslims

  1. This has already been referenced today, but AG Loretta Lynch's speech, to a muslim group the day after the horrific muslim terrorist attack, deserves its own thread. Let's remember this is the EricHolder clone, extreme leftist affirmative action lawyer the republicans in the Senate couldn't confirm fast enough, over Ted Cruz's objections.

Clearly she resides in obama's alternative universe, a special place where the greatest threat facing us is AGW and our biggest dfomestic issue is hate pseech toward muslims. She is on that.

The day after a horrific shooting spree by a "radicalized" Muslim man and his partner in San Bernardino, California, Attorney General Loretta Lynch pledged to a group of Muslim activists that she would take aggressive action against anyone who used "anti-Muslim rhetoric" that "edges toward violence."

Speaking to the audience at the Muslim Advocate's 10th anniversary dinner Thursday, Lynch said her "greatest fear" is the "incredibly disturbing rise of anti-Muslim rhetoric" in America and vowed to prosecute any guilty of what she deemed violence-inspiring speech.

Assuring the pro-Muslim group that "we stand with you," Lynch said she would use her Justice Department to protect Muslims from "violence" and discrimination.
"When we talk about the First amendment we [must] make it clear that actions predicated on violent talk are not American."

Claiming that violence against Muslims is on the rise and citing France's clamp down on potentially radicalized mosques, Lynch suggested the Constitution does not protect "actions predicated on violent talk" and pledged to prosecute those responsible for such actions.
“When we talk about the First amendment we [must] make it clear that actions predicated on violent talk are not American," said Lynch. "They are not who we are, they are not what we do, and they will be prosecuted."
"My message not just to the Muslim community but to all Americans is ‘We cannot give in to the fear that these backlashes are really based on,'" said Lynch.
It is painfully clear that, like her predecessor Eric Holder, Lynch is far more concerned with promoting the social justice agenda than protecting the Constitutional rights of American citizens. What exactly is speech that "edges toward violence"? What exactly are "actions predicated on violent talk"? In the end, it is whatever she decides it to mean.

  2. Other than the tone deaf timing of her speech and the raw threat against First Amendment freedoms, the thing that struck me was how bizarrely backwards she saw things. The problem is not speech urging violence against muslims. Frankly, I haven't heard any. Maybe Hillary has some video s stashed away in her anti-islam video file to use in the event of a future fiasco, but there have been no calls for violence against muslims.

The vast majority of radicalized speech is coming from muslims, not directed at them. And, not to belabor the point, but virtually all of the actual violence, the kind that kills people, not the verbal kind that liberals are so concerned about, has come from muslims and other immigrants. Ann Coulter has a column that catalogues it and shows how dangerously wrong the NYT and other major media are to suggest the opposite.

This is what happens when you confirm obviously unqualified people carrying a racial chip on their shoulder to be AG. Too bad we don't have republicans in the Senate with the backbone to prevent it.

  3. Even worse... and like Odumbo, she's "down with" promoting everything Muslim, even at the expense of to the detriment of American citizens.

Is the Odumbo administration TRYING to transform the USA into an Islamic Caliphate? Sure feels like it.

    :(

Obama ridicules anyone who would be wary of Islamic women and children. Yet an Islamic mother, raising her six-month-old baby in an apartment doubling as a bomb factory, just strapped on body armor, loaded up her AR and shot 31 people in a gun free zone? Yep, nothing to worry about there ...

  6. The media are studiously ignoring the really scary part of this. These two were clearly not acting alone. Me, I would start by having a close look at their mosque, since there is a 100% chance their co-terrorists "worship" there. No doubt the FBI would reject that out of hand as unacceptable profiling.

I wonder how Trump would handle it?

Actually the FBI has been talking to their mosque and its leaders. They have searched the mosque and homes of the members.

Syed Rizwan Farook stopped coming to the mosque several weeks ago - puzzling all the other members who normally say him there regularly. This likely coincides with when he started to prepare for his terrorist actions.

"Before the shooting that left 14 people dead during his office holiday party, Farook had not been to the San Bernardino mosque in a few weeks, members said.

Abbassi said he learned of Farrok's involvement Wednesday night when an FBI agent, a Secret Service agent and a Los Angeles police investigator knocked on his door.

"Opened the door — a gun pointed right at my face," he said. "I was shocked. Scared, definitely. What did I do to deserve a gun pointed at me?"

He said he was asked to step outside with his hands on his head. The investigators searched him and searched his home."

I find it funny that all the pictures of Syed Rizwan Farook and his wife simply show the wife as a black outline as if she is in a black burqa.

This is probably because they have no pictures of her because she was forced to wear a burqa all the time.

  9. That article could have been written by CAIR. What would you expect them to say, "oh yeah, we talked about jihad a lot. It is our religious duty , you know. And that Farrok, he supplied weapons to several other jihadis here. What a good muslim he was."

  10. When that kid shot up the black church in SC, I don't recall a lot of warnings not to engage in anti-Southern hate speech or to respect southern culture and its symbols. No, liberals formed a lynch mob and went after every Confederate flag they could find, aided by cowardly republican officials.
