I really want to see this breakout, but I am getting impatient.
Well i will take that back then :-)
I cant see it getting back near 4030 now. The SPX is back below the major 0.618 level again. Probably just downside from here on.
Yeah this is more like the sort of price action I was waiting for :)
The trouble is, the price isnt really moving at all.
Agree 100%. If it goes long I can see quite a reversal and a close well below the peak again. kick starting a leg down.
Not quite the volatility I was expecting. The price has hardly moved at all. I was expecting an upwards move off the back off those jobless claims.
So I cant tell if now is the drop ready for a big push higher, or if yesterday/last night was the pump ready for a big drop today.
Well if we see an up spike just before the announcement i will probably look at closing my long. Those early spikes up seem to pump the market...
Thanks, all clear now! I just went long.
Of course. I thought we were still talking about about the SPX.
So you dont think the major downtrend line will pose any resistance then?
I don't like to enter a long in a downward/bear market unless its oversold or bouncing off of a level. So I will either wait for those conditions...
That's a good idea. I will probably look at shorting around 4009 and then keep scaling in up to the 200ma and then if it breaks much above the...
4009 is the SPX big fib 0.618 level, so a big drop tomorrow shouldn't take too many people by surprise.
Well I think tomorrow is a good day to get out of the way before making a medium directional decision. I think the day before is usually quite...
They might as well keep pumping it now until the news events tomorrow. The markets can still take a massive drop and also have a santa rally still.
Looks like a nice pump ready for a big dump tomorrow.
Been getting it wrong today. Almost back to break even for the day.
Agreed, I replied to my post saying I was wrong, but it doesnt seem to have posted for some reason. NQ could start to drop now though.
