Imagine how much money has been printed over the past 5 weeks.
Unrealized losses estimated around -300. Losses are estimated because I'm holding a profitable SPY put position but I do not yet know the market...
Look what happend to yesterday's huge EOD 'rally'. It sold off in seconds minutes before the close. Nobody had the conviction to hold their stocks...
Thanks cant wait. Whenever Paulson speaks the market tanks, and loses any small amount of confidence. He is like the Antichrist of greenspring.
I would wager there is alot more of us willing to hit the sell button than the buy button here. That is why alot of ETers get pissed everyone time...
I got caught short and was down -1200 on 1 YM. Now I'm only down $295, which is entirely manageable. That was the best close we've had in a long time.
If you call the folks at the PPT idiots. On light volume its easy for them to send the market soaring.
300 billion backstop on bad assets? That is a boatload of bad assets. I think we tank monday.
haha I love how everybody is speechless with your results :) nice job neke
It ridiculous especially when you consider how many ticks that would be. Small accounts get no respect having to post insane margin and having day...
Neke, I traded some SPY puts the other day. I'm no options trader but SPY options trade so nice I want to start. I'll probably pick up some calls...
The new paradigm has arrived. Lower stock prices, deflation fears, and consumer spending down the toilet. 7500 is the old 8500, 8200 is the old...
It makes no difference. There is an important difference between tick backed and cash backed trades, however. If you are up on a trade but...
+525 honestly not much to make on a day like today. Probably would've made more but I decided to do other stuff ie exercise.
+105. Was up 600 but lost alot by going long at the close. Its not the easiest thing to hold onto gains, I tend to lose them easily.
I dont know but yesterday it was around 3:50, just as the market was looking to close below 8,000.
Just have to take your word for it that not a $637 loss. JK nice trading.
Thats some serious scalping:eek: :)
