'God is racist,' Jewish people 'all descend from Satan,' NC candidate says https://www.newsobserver.com/news/politics-government/article213937944.html A website tied to a candidate for the North Carolina General Assembly says God is a racist white supremacist and that Jews are descended from Satan. Russell Walker is a Republican candidate running for state House District 48 which includes Scotland and Hoke counties. On Tuesday, the North Carolina Republican Party withdrew its support for Walker. “Based on recent behavior and previous statements, the North Carolina Republican Party is unable and unwilling to support the Republican nominated candidate for North Carolina House District 48," GOP chairman Robin Hayes said in a statement Tuesday. "The NCGOP along with our local parties in Hoke, Scotland and Robeson Counties will be spending our time and resources supporting Republican candidates that better reflect the values of our party.” Walker did not immediately respond to requests for comment on Wednesday. "What is wrong with being a white supremacist? God is a racist and a white supremacist," the website connected to Walker says. "Someone or group has to be supreme and that group is the whites of the world ... someone or something has to be inferior ... In all history in sub-Saharan Africa, no two-story building or a waterproof boat was ever made." Walker has authored multiple essays and other articles on the site and has said it belongs to him. In a 2016 letter to the editor in The Highlands Newspaper of Highlands, N.C., Russell Walker of Aberdeen referred to the website and said it was his. Walker owns a house in Aberdeen, according to public records. The Southern Poverty Law Center said on Wednesday that the website belongs to Walker. The website domain is registered privately. A Facebook page for Russell Walker is the only account following the website's Facebook page. Walker has carried signs during a protest outside a North Carolina newspaper's office that said "What is wrong with being a racist" and "God is racist," the newspaper said. Walker says on his campaign website that he is suing the Hoke County News-Journal newspaper “because they have refused to print any of my letters to the editor.” (Screen shots, video and pictures also available at above url)
I call out idiots from both parties. At least the state Republican party and all the local county Republican parties immediately removed their support from Walker. This is very different than the State Democratic party which took several months to withdraw support from racist candidates running as Democrats in 2010 and 2012 in North Carolina. The local rural county Democratic parties still supported these racist candidates and never withdrew their support. I previously discussed the schism within the Democratic party in North Carolina in recent years between the state Democrats and rural Democrats - which led to the state party going bankrupt and having to sell their headquarters. Even the Democratic candidates for U.S. Senator in recent years had their campaigns run by the Wake County Democratic party (which had money) and not the state Democratic party.
Can you be specific, which racist in NC was supported by the State Dems? You seem to have got it backwards.
Which is exactly what we all should do. Unfortunately, finding a liberal on this forum criticizing his/her/its party is akin to finding a needle in a haystack.
Feel free to go back to go search all my previous posts on this. It was not one racist but several who ran as Democrats in recent election cycles where the local Democratic county parties did not withdraw their support. My previous posts completely detailed the situations with links to news articles and historical commentary. I also have numerous posts about the problems with the Democratic party in North Carolina and split between the urban and rural Democrats in our state. Feel free to use the search function and educate yourself on the entire situation.

Educate myself on how many racists are there in NC and some tried to run as a Democrat but got no support from the actual party but are now Trump supporters. Why do you I need to search for such obvious facts?
