I trade SB (and most other softs) mostly swing with occasional day-trades.
SB was the first futures contracts I ever traded... way back when orders were placed over the phone, charting service was printed in booklet format and snail-mailed weekly, and cost for real-time quotations was more than apartment rent!

I don't know what info you are looking for, but Im confident google is your friend.

  3. Just wanting to know really what type of ta works for swing and daytrading this

I've been trading and spread trading sugar a fair amount lately. There have been some really good trends in the past year. I trade for hold times of several days to a few weeks.

I've done better with outright positions than spreads for some reason.

Depends on your style of trading, but I'm not aware of any great source for Sugar trading info. I think you can tell more by looking at charts than you can from trying to fundamentally trade sugar as someone new to industry. I think it would be hard to beat the producers and end users in the fundamental game.
