Which platform is best in Execution speed and commission/fees perspective? I am currently using IB and satisfied with their execution speed but their fees are very high. For 6600 AMD trade, I pay $33.00 to buy and $37.45 to sell!! I am with their fixed commission plan. I heard god things about Fidelity, lightspeed and also Charles Schwab, not sure where to move. I use platform for ordering only, so I dont care about other features or even live data.
In addition to a per share rate, we offer a per trade rate, $4.50/trade before volume discounts up to 10,000 shares, plus routing and reg fees. Contact me directly for more information.
You pay too much, try tiered pricing with ibkr... when you trade a lot and/or add liquidity it gets much cheaper, with rebates even for free or you actually get paid (choose MEMX exchange for max rebate)
thanks. Just changed it to Tiered, ll update you tomorrow on costing. Any impact on execution if I go with MEMX(will try that too)? If you are day trader, which platform do you use and what is your typical lot size?
Free with fidelity is unbeatable, their ATP is good. I'm saving a fortune with fidelity. Instant fills
No issue on execution using MEMX, imo i even get better fills than on ARCA/ISLAND. I use the classic TWS (not mosaic look) and like the tools Ibkr offers such as trading from quote window, scale and conditional orders, book trader. Lot size very variable but i do quite some volume, regularly hitting the 3M+ tier. I currently get paid 0.90 for a trade of 1000 stocks on MEMX for a 5$ stock.
The poll is poorly constructed. Your name should not be publicly visible, although I didn't see any names.
sounds great.I put limit order above the current price and Profit taker limit above current price too. Not sure I will get rebate on such. Need to give it a shot.
