Biological Men Undermining Womens Sports

Women have come a long way in sports. It has taken decades for women to make progress around the world just to be allowed to play and to have decent facilities to play in. In the U.S., Title IX drove many of the improvements for women in sports. Other countries around the world had similar initiatives.

Now all this progress is being undermined. Any biological man can simply claim they are a woman and then go compete against women. This is nowhere more clear than in the 2024 Olympics in Paris where the officials stated that simply being marked as female on your passport will allow you to proclaim you are a woman. No tests for gender or testosterone level required. Even if you have been banned in other athletic events for being a biological male -- this had no bearing on competing in women's events in Paris.

The Zambia Women's Soccer team competed with four biological males on their team (who had been banned in other competitions for being male). Two of the biological males on the Zambia Women's soccer team were stars with lengthy histories of being banned from other events.

    • Barbra Banda and Racheal Kundananji scored against Aussies
    • Zelic said both players failed gender tests, were banned

Two biological male boxers are being allowed to compete as women at the Paris Olympics. One of them broke their opponents nose within seconds of the match starting forcing a biological woman to quit the match at the 46 second mark. This was the first match for the biological male boxer -- the brutalized female opponent stated she never had been hit so hard.

Something is very wrong with a world that allows biological males to compete as women. It undermines all the progress made by women in sports. I expect in the next Olympics that more countries will be showing up with entire teams of biological males for women's matches in boxing, wrestling, soccer, swimming and other sports. For instance, countries are likely to field entire "women's" soccer teams consisting entirely of biological males.

There is a need to uphold the integrity of women's sports. This will require a ban across the world on biological males proclaiming they are female to compete in women's sports. Enough is enough.

100% agree. Something is very wrong.

The problem is that you don't get to support the party that drives this and remove yourself from owning a piece of it. Even if you want to push the Democratic Political Establishment to the right to drop this, you still support it when you support their progressive candidates.

This has been going on for many years...long before people made it a political issue, especially in countries where there is not a left/right two political ideology.

It will take a massive boycott by countries/athletes in which male athletes are allowed to compete in women's sports after they've failed gender testing for this to stop considering these athletes are given the gold medal without competing once due to the boycotting by their competitors.

Thus, the Italian boxer should have never entered the ring and announced she was boycotting her boxing match. Next, all the other athletes do the same, and then when the Olympic committee starts seeing they have to give gold medals to athletes that have not competed once because their competition boycotted them...

They will change their rules including making changes to gender testing rules considering many countries have different test or no testing. This is similar to what athletes did against those they knew were doping before the IOC created mandatory drug testing.

Back in those days, many famous athletes refused to compete against those they knew were using performance enhancing drugs.

I wouldn't be surprised if one day we see a gender Olympics for males wanting to be females to compete against others that are the same or females wanting to be males...similar to how long it took for there to be a Paralympics.

It has? When has the olympics allowed biological males to compete with females? Years??

If there's a "gender olympics" where males wanting to be females compete with other males wanting to be females, wouldn't you just call this a male sport between competitors that don't have what it takes to compete with other males?

  5. Every single female in every single sport need to stop competing until this insanity ends. Until that happens it will continue.

So the women should effectively "self-punish" by not playing sports in order to stop this? This type of action would simply further undermine women's sports.

How about loudly demanding an end be put to this abusive nonsense of allowing biological men to compete as women and the governing associations are pressured to ensure it is written into policy.

  7. All women boycott, or this. We need to see a higher level of commitment from these dudes pretending to be women. I propose this simple solution. All that make genitalia, got to go, surgically removed. Gone for good. And a financial invest in some fake tits. At least then we could see they're serious about the change they claim to be making.

  8. We're beyond talking, action is needed. They all stop competing it gets taken care of quickly. Why? Money, that's why.

That is what is needed...a massive or global boycott not just at the Olympics but in other levels of sport (e.g. Worlds and Region).

If that occurs (athletes boycotting their competition in Regionals and Worlds), it will cause the IOC to act before it spreads to impact the next Olympic games.

Imagine if males competing as females showing up in Boxing, Judo, Rowing, Fencing, Tennis, Basketball, Hockey, Skiing, Gymnastics, Figure Skating, etc ...

Women boycotting the most popular revenue generated Olympic sporting events...females boycotting together...the IOC will be forced to make changes.

There are many world events and governing associations which already strictly ban biological males from competing in women's sports. These entities are already doing the right thing -- I do not see any reason for women to boycott these events which have appropriate policies.
