Bluefin tuna sells for record $3.1 million at Tokyo market, but scarcity clouds celebration

I went to this Mitsuwa supermarket and they had a whole bluefin and were butchering it. Pretty freaking awesome man.

 

That is cool ... the travels shows showing the markets in Japan and other points have interest have made me want to visit.

 

They have these markets around large US cities. I went to the one outside of Chicago. I guess every so often they get a whole tuna.
