A typical "food business" sells perishables along with frozen stuff? All BEYOND sells is non-perishable frozen stuff, so it will keep forever. No big deal.
Just because it is frozen does not mean it will last forever. It slowly gets to a point where it is not usable. A freezer has very dry air, and it has a negative impact on the food over time.
A caveat for me...I own both stocks. Two other ways to play BYND...McDonald's and Bunge. Last time I looked, Bunge owns 1.5% of BTND. Don't know if it really matters. They may develop (if they have not already) into some type of working partnership. McDonald's probably spends hundreds of millions of dollars in research for new items...McRibs, McCafe, ect. They will be on top of this one for sure. Yeah, Burger King has their veggie burger...But it doesn't mean they will win the race. I was at McDonald's the other day...They gave me a muffin for free. Do you know the muffin man?? His name is Ronald McDonald!! They are going after Starbucks in a big way. When women have to make a choice of dropping their Iphone or dropping a daily Starbucks...They will hold tight their Apple. Then they will make their coffee at home or run to McDonald's. And since they are at McDonald's, they might as well.....
I doubt I will eat it. I took vegetarian food before. It made me so sick because it contained tons of chemicals to make it look like meat. I doubt the chef ate the food which he cooked.
I had gastric bypass. The veggie burger at Burger King did not sit well with my pouch. I couldn't finish it. Deep fried and Chinese foods do not sit well with it either...
That is because a processed veggie burger is not natural. Eat meat, it is better for you, will help repair yer busted-up intestines.
