No foreigner is innocent in China anyway LOL unless they are shedding money and giving away technology for free in China. Even then they are still not innocent. Everybody already knows that.

  7. Correct the Great Wall mentality still exists. Although outwardly Mainlanders give the impression of acceptance and inclusion in reality the old ways still continue. There will stab you in the back with a smile on their face while hugging you.
After decades of dealing with a certain demographic I have come to the conclusion of... "Do not forgive, do not forget and do not trust. Revenge, retribution and vengeance every day of the week.
As far the the President elect be the new Sheriff in town and guiding the path of a certain nation state, the credibility issue arises and the global elite really don't take him seriously. Someone didn't make the A list Davos if you remember. Running a hotel is a little different than a country.

So, where is the beef aka 60% tariffs? Only 10%. That's puny. :)
Mexico and Canada just got a bigger share.
The 60% is just an election rhetoric. :(

It's an *additional* 10%. Mexico and Canada have 0% at the moment.

Biden already has 100% on EVs from China. Other goods have different tariffs (I think the average was about 25%, but I can't quickly find a link).
