CME Futures - Event Contract - Gambling?

Do any futures trades know about this?

Seems like a simple bet is the market going to close Higher or Lower for the day.

No skill involved just plain guessing.

Anyone going to dabble in this?

Spreads are too high. No technical advantage to using them that I can see.

 

They are basically binary options.

How wide are the spreads? What kind of volume? How deep does the bid/offer look?

 

Who are the counterparty?
