fucking gansters at cme - i am looking into more foreign markets some have really high volume now -

the cme will wind up like it's pits - extinct. can't wait the es volume is dwindling each day - will the last hft in the room turn out the lights lol!

  3. sure i agree except the HFT cannot wait for the day that there are competing CME exchanges! this way the voluems a retail trader sees will not be correct like they are now and the hft will be able toprofit even more!!

The CME should be reducing fees across the board in order to get more trading but because they are in bed with the hft and some of the directors are owners then they make even more money from the side VIG!!

I am all for BIDEN to compleetley tax the shit out of FUTURES ..lol since no one else seems to care about fees why not just make so expensive that no one trades em!

  4. Look at the MICRO gold and micro silver fees how much of an increase!! why?

Because retail is scalping the shit out of MICRO GOLD you can catch a tick and be profitable! and the CME does not want that at all because then you compete with the HFT

  5. They will never do away with stock index futures. Thats how they get the cash stock indexes higher overnight. Just about all of the stock indexes gains come from juicing the stock index futures up in the overnight futures session.

  6. Be a man and trade the full contract. The micros really aren't viable for scalping, but for low frequency trading or swing trading, they're fine.

Is the daily volume of ES really any lower? Looks fairly consistent to me over the last 10 years and far greater than early 2000.

I was not even aware that India had a futures market.

the micro's are a dream come true for automated systems guys to test their models with before moving on to the mini. i am super happy the micro's exist, and see no reason the cme should be gouging with ever increasing cost.

My understanding of the CME fee schedule is that Non-Member rates on Micros are $0.40/rt and Member Lease rates are $0.14/rt at present.

So do the math and decide if leasing a seat makes sense. If you’ve had a bang-up year you might even consider buying a seat.

IMO, micros are the ideal product to learn how to swing trade an outright or to test an automated trading system.

You’d better be on the selective end of the spectrum if you’re scalping it.

    Just my own observation, YMMV
