    Brazil has reportedly seen its first case of coronavirus, marking the spread of the disease to every continent except Antarctica.

    The South American country’s first COVID-19 diagnosis was confirmed at a Sao Paulo hospital, a source told Reuters on Wednesday.

    The 61-year-old patient, whose identity wasn’t released, had traveled to Italy, where there’s been a recent outbreak, the report said.

    Brazil’s Health Ministry declined to comment on the case ahead of a news conference scheduled for Wednesday morning.

    More than 30 countries and territories have been hit with the virus since it originated in the Chinese city of Wuhan.

    The virus has spread to more than 80,000 people, mostly in China, since December, and killed more than 2,700 others.

    There is something that I don't understand. In Thailand, there is only 40 cases of this thing and 22 of them already recovered. Its basically been at this level since the start of February. During the Chinese lunar new year Thailand has hundreds of thousands of tourists here from China. So if there is a place where there should be a serious spread it would be in Thailand but so far nothing.

    Is it a case of the government not reporting or does the virus not spread in hot climate?

    Think we should just accept its wild and we are all going to get it, stop the lockdowns and the panic, just accept the 2% min fatality rate and pretty much move on.

    If your in an at risk group, then you need to isolate yourself.

    That;
    + CNBC, which I seldom watched. CNBC predicted bird flu would be a pandemic also. I wish for once the media would report QQQ finished up, or DAL sector finished down on trend following/countrend following. But fake news seems to seldom tell the truth.................................................................................................

    We don't need the media reporting on QQQ etc, they promote themselves already an authority of the markets with bs spiel every 5 minutes why the mkt leapt or plunged.
    Always they have crazy excuses why the mkt behaved, as if they were the suprime TraderGod themselves.
