For all of you that wanted to counter trend trade crude oil, I hope that you got out break even. Just because you saw a little trend line break doesn't mean nothing.. Now crude is back to the lows.. and this is why you can't be eager to counter trend trade a strong trend.. If you want to take a counter trend trade, then don't be the first mouse.. This game is all about having the odds on your side.. and being the first mouse is a losing game..
A technical trader who truly understands price action wouldn't have bought just because of a trend line break. They would've simply adjusted their lines and looked at S&R points. The price action between the 5th and the 10th showed that Crude was about to continue it's decline. For me, confirmation came on the 12th. ......how I wish I would have said this before as it was happening because it now looks like hindsight analysis.
Don't feel bad. That's pretty much all anways does on this forum, lol (with the exception of the ES journal) Trade2win has much more people willing to put their balls/reputation on the line and calls real time trades. Maybe it's because they're mainly all European!
Hi Folks, Is it me or a fact that crude oil has more V-turns (or inverse V-turns) recently ? How would you guys handle these turns ? CL is still a running market. I do not like to sell at the top or buy at the bottom. However, if I wait for well-defined higher low or lower high, I'll miss a lot of opportunities. Thanks.
its now at 43.52 after giving me some heat. I am watching carefully and will close out soon if it doesnt make a good move up
