One of the most basic principles of life is you don't appease a bully, any more than you give in to a child's tantrums or run from a menacing dog. Somehow republicans never seemed to have learned these basic lessons. In that spirit, Indiana republicans sawed off the limb behind their suppoorters and enacted a "fix" for the religious freedom law that is hard to see as anything but a craven surrender to the homo nazi movement.

The new law "clarifies" the earlier bill by saying that it doesn't give anyone the right to deny service to anyone on grounds of sexual orientation. As CNN gleefully noted, it puts religious people in a worse position than they were before the original law was passed. Now gays are virtually a protected class, armed with even more legal rights to brandish in their campaign of legal terrorism against Christians and other people of faith.

Thanks a liot, republicans. Gov. Pence, I suggest you forget those dreams of getting on the VP ticket because it isn't happening, now or ever. Honestly, i would rather vote for a dirtbag like Christie who at least has some balls than one of these Bible pounders who turns yellow the minute some haters start yelling.

What a superior human being you are.

    And I mean that.

    Really.

  3. The GOP grandstand every campaign season on the hot issues, then do NOTHING after getting elected.
I stopped voting for them a decade ago.

    Vote Libertarian!

Awww...Bro...You tryin' to say that they just in it for themselves?
    I'm shocked.

  5. The absolute cowardice of these pols continues to astound me, and believe me, I am pretty jaded. What was the point of the original law, if not to protect business from gay terrorism?

Now they act like, oh no, furtherest thing from our minds. And we'll prove it by punishing Christians even more and giving the homo lobby extra rights as a reward for their campaign of hate. That'll teach 'em.

They'd be satisfied with equal rights. Like the Constitution guarantees.

    Christians need rights, also.
