well actually, bees make honey, you get more ants with honey, you get fruit flies with vinegar (most add a little dishwashing liquid to create film on top which helps trap them.) Best way to get bees is to plant flowers or fruit trees. But it aint looking good out there right now. When I was a kid you could hardly walk barefoot out in the back yard without getting stung by one of those imported hybrid bees on the clover (yes, before Pro Lawn Care Inc, most yards had clover.) And it's been almost 12 years since I've seen those big old native bumble bees all over my apple tree. Yet, I can still always buy honey at my local store. So, you really don't get more of anything with honey other than ants, but you should get more money for your honey if there is really a shortage of honey bees.
