Anyone here joining a decentralized social media network?

One that can't be censored; where Freedom of Speech is ensured, even when some don't like what is being said?

Seems that the Constitution has fallen short.

I've gone looking for it. After Parler was terminated with extreme prejudice (I never posted there, but I liked reading) I took at look at Gab. Heard the Telegraph was also doing quite well. I get that a lot of the stuff is borderline lunacy, but there is a good bunch of content that is simply the other side of the coin we get fed regularly, and that's what I'm going for.

Nope. The Constitution is still doing its job. The First Amendment protects you from government censorship, not a private company’s.

Seems like they're asking for a community owned, decentralized social media, hmm, that sound familiar.

Of course its more nuanced than that simply minded crap.

If U.S. law protects you from libel and slander because you claim to be an open forum, then logically you must remain an open forum and not curate or eliminate specific view points.

    There are exceptions.

Google, Facebook and Twitter by their stupidity just created more competition because there is a huge demand now for news that is truthful and accurate. Extreme liberal fake news as put out by these extreme liberal social media will die a natural death. Twitter made tens of millions of dollars in profit thru the mere presence and tweets of President Donald Trump. His 75 million voters have no use for Twitter now.

Notwithstanding the fact that, as another has pointed out, Free Speech applies to the government:

Your logical thinking has convinced you that The Constitution has "fallen short" because people aren't allowed to promote violence freely?

Do you also have a problem with not being allowed to falsely yell "FIRE!" in a crowded movie theater?

It's remarkable how many stale old farts can't keep what their first amendment is about in their heads.

Any forum that does not censor will get filled with pedos and other illegal content very fast. How can anybody be so naive.
