It was not the fetishized form that it is now Remember this guy This is from a live show for all ages Mash unit would have given this guy his section 8 immediately
Of course Klinger was one of the best things as a kid watching Mash. Regards the captioned photo my image search draws a blank... As you can imagine due to the long tradition of conservative sources posting things that are out of context we would need original source to verify. "As good as real" like a parable don't cut it. As far as fetishized things though as a parent, I'm far more concerned about the fetishization of guns since the 70s.
ngl; people my age grew up knowing performing "in drag" was different than a "drag show". The two I've been dragged to (hehe) in my younger days were basically burlesque/cabaret in drag and fit the definition of what I knew a "drag show" to be. Now, sure, definitions change....but zoomers do tend to gaslight their elders over language. If it's a kid's friendly performance "in drag" don't call it a drag show and expect boomers not to be confused. Not that fox et. al. have made matters any better but zoomers do insist on calling it "drag show" too. Now, I have no issue w/kids attending full blown drag shows if accompanied by their parents and policing businesses as DeFascist is doing is hypocritical AF. You wouldn't pull the biz. license of a theater for having kids in an NC-17 film if accompanied by a random adult.
Simple fact is that today many young people are fed up with and refuse to comply with all the rules that dictate how they're suppose to act, what they're supposed to believe, and what they should or should not wear based on the genetic lottery of birth. The confounding factor is sex. Since sex "determines" what clothes you're supposed to wear, then wearing the "wrong" clothes must have something to do with sex. There's a name for that fallacy, can't think of it at the moment.
"Hiding from an active shooter at school on a monthly basis". Phffft... lightweights...that's nothing. We hid from nuclear war under our wooden desks.
So I found the clip @Mercor showed a still of. Fake boobs and a latex buttox (no butthole). All ages is on the advertising shown. Certainly the level of lewdness is high and unaware parents would be embarrassed if they brought kids.. However when something seems too good to be true as a propoganda piece, it usually is so more digging required. I'd expect the nature of the show was forewarned more than we see. Regardless, this as with drinking alcohol at home and movies is a parent's role to decide. I know my daughter would found that absolutely hilarious, I would have died maybe with her there Must read up some more on the show later.
We were told not to hide as we were the exact distance to die horribly from the oil terminal both the US and USSR would target to deny each other. Best to get it over with quick.
