Equality is impossible

"Man will always be a man. There is no new man. We tried so hard to create a society that was equal, where there'd be nothing to envy your neighbour. But there's always something to envy. A smile, a friendship, something you don't have and want to appropriate. In this world, even a Soviet one, there will always be rich and poor. Rich in gifts, poor in gifts. Rich in love, poor in love."

Immortality is impossible, but healthy living is still a worthy use of one's time.

  3. Not only is equality impossible, it's not even desirable... unless you're a Communist bureaucrat, of course. American politicians clamor about "income inequality"... simply to dived the populace and gin-up the vote of the have-nots. Beyond that, the notion of "equality/inequality" is all BS.

  4. Bullshit.

  5. COMMIE BASTARD! Why don't you move to Cuba or Venezuela where you might be happy living on the "equality" a totalitarian government allocates to you?

Don't you get it? Nobody is "entitled" to ANYTHING! Nobody "deserves" anything just because they were born in the USA. (Of course, politicians tell us otherwise... they're trying to slip one up your pooper while soliciting votes. People deserve ONLY what they earn for themselves.)

If you're a "doer and a winner", you get the riches. If you don't/can't... well you don't. It's all up to you. My advice to you... QUIT BEING A WHINING PUSSY AND MAKE SOMETHING OF YOURSELF!!

You shouldn't be rewarded for pissn' and moan'n, "wah, wah, wah... somebody's got more that I... it's not fair".

LIFE AIN'T FAIR! Duh! Make your own way or perish. Society only tolerates parasites and whiners.... 'cause we sort of have to... society benefits not from them/you.

By definition, a totalitarian government makes a society unequal.

There's something I do not understand, this envy thing. It's one thing to say "Wow, wish I had that car" or "sure like to be that rich." But people seem to *hate* other people who have that stuff they wish they had. Never felt that. Doesn't seem to make the haters happier. But it sure seems to be getting worse.

Especially hating people who have stuff. It's just stuff, bfd. Got news for the envious, all the stuff in the world won't fill that empty feeling you have, it will not make you happy. Even if you take it from those who have it.

Then taking stuff away from those who have it would not enlarge their empty feeling, nor make them less happy.

  9. LOTS of people equate "stuff" with success. Seems "it's not fair if one guy has stuff and I don't"... it's not a matter of fair... You can have all the "stuff" you can afford to buy from your own success. THAT'S the American way.

My Gawd! How we FUCKED UP AMERICA by giving soooooo much to sooooo many who "deserved" none of it. Then again, that's politicians for you. (Greedy, immoral SOBs)

    This land is my land,
    Your land is no land,
    I got a shotgun,
    And you don't got one,
    I'll blow your head off,
    If you don't get off,
    This land is private property
