I don't know about all those numerous posts being great for the American farmer. Other articles say otherwise. Shock to the system’: farmers hit by Trump’s tariffs and cuts say they need another bailout With extreme weather and Trump’s looming trade war, US farmers are reeling and resigned to needing more cash help https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/apr/15/farmers-trump-tariffs-bailout-extreme-weather
Then there's the Texas farmer who is bragging about how he screwed the Government. They paid him not to grow wheat but he didn't grow corn.
Shouldn't this post be in the politics section. I am glad that something is working out for the US. After all the fucked ups that Trump has triggered you guys need a bit of good news.
China quietly removed tariffs on US imported goods including, pork, semiconductors, electronic supplies etc. It turns out they just raised the price of food on Chinese citizens who lost their jobs and without any monies? Also, the domestic consumption the communists are relying on to bail them out did not materialize. Again, having lost jobs, a lot of Chinese have no monies even to buy food. Chinese citizens shown on video scavenging from trash from fast food restaurants and eating leftover half eaten hamburgers, leftover fries and other food directly, from the trash bin. There are even reports Xi Jinping's top military officers loyal to him, have been removed by the Chinese communist party and replaced.
