I am trying to find the fastest broker out there with hotkey functionality that has reasonable pricing. I will be trading volume and IB is too expensive for 10k shares+ a pop. I will be using Lightspeed once I get to 30k so I'm looking for who has the best rates and fastest executions besides them. I don't care about the rest of the features of the platform, just the speed of the order execution and hotkeys. I'm looking for under a second executions. Can anyone help?
You will benefit from per trade pricing, which we have, but yes all our professional software require $25,000 or more. Our WebTrader requires $10,000 but does not have hot keys. This is comical. You want sub-second executions through a retail broker using hotkeys, and I'll assume you intend on using limit orders as well. I'll book you a trip to fantasy land, free of charge. To get where you want, you'll need a reputable broker with a good API, and clever automated execution, using an application built preferably in a lower level language.
I have to disagree. Our hotkeys are very fast and so are our executions without automation. I have manual clients that trade 2mm to 3mm shares a month. The issue is the size of his account with us. We require >$25,000.
Comical as it may be to you DM I am serious, and my strategy is highly effective. I'll be over at Lightspeed soon enough, but I wanted something that suits my style in the mean time. I just don't like giving IB my cash because for large orders it's a total rip off imo. Lightspeed is the right broker for my style, and there really is no other broker that is fair towards large order scalping. Due to the need for hotkeys and instant executions I'll just have to keep working with IB for now it seems.

No, I'm not across the 25k plane yet but I'm getting there so I can only still trade under the PDT rule. It's lame. But once I cross the boundary soon I'll be switching to Lightspeed who doesn't rape their customers that like to scalp high volume. I've traded multiple styles but even since I found some consistently profitable moves with very minimal risk/loss I realized this is where it's at for me.
