Hands down... it's tart apple slices, with creamy peanut butter. Preferably Jiff. Yeah I know.... but whatever. Sour apples and peanut butter rule.
It depends. If you make it at home, then it is healthy. If you get it from the supermarket, then it is not. Some apple tart can last for years because it contains tons of preservatives, added refined sugar ... Peanut butter - If after a few months and you notice the oil is not floating on the surface of peanut butter jar, then you know it contains tons of stabilizers/homogenizers Make life easier and simpler. Simply eat APPLE and roasted peanut. Peanut is not a very healthy food. But is definitely healthier than UPF.
Make no mistake... I never called Jiff healthy. That is why I threw in the "yeah I know" part above. But if I die from peanut butter and apple slices.... color me a lucky man.
Is JIF better than Skippy? The weirdest peanut butter is the one where it is premixed with grape jelly. I think that was Skippy. Best is to just the in house brand from Sprouts or Whole Foods. I just save the peanut oil floating on top for my stir fry cooking.
I tried that the first time I bought peanut butter made with nothing but peanuts. Except I just discarded the oil on top rather than used it elsewhere. I quickly found out that the remainder in the jar took on the consistency of clay. So now I just mix it well. In any event, I switched to almond butter years ago, for the taste.
I did the pareto analysis: very healthy: macadamia nut walnut chia seed .... so so: peanut soyabean ... very unhealthy: food from the food factory made by the food scientists
