Say you are in the last semester at a four year school...Getting a BS in Finance. You did your internship...Not bad, but not great. You are bright, but have walked into a dying/slowing field... Just wondering where you will go?? One though...Thinking in another direction. Why not work for a bank in their trust department?? You start out low and slow...I get it. Yet, you gain real world experience...You may move up. You may move sideways to another avenue of employment years down the road. Yeah, I did my AI Google search on this... Just wondering what outside of the box positions are there waiting for these men and women?? PS Further thoughts...Working for a large estate attorney firm or a large CPA firm. Almost as a goffer...It this crazy?? Also with cheap (over qualified) people out there, should medium banks consider going back into the trust area?? Now might be the time...As baby boomers age!!
