Hi there, I am the new guy. Currently working on a trading bot that does automated trading using reinforcement learning. I have a MSCS from GaTech and have day traded (paper money) on and off for years. I have long term traded for many years. The idea came from speaking with a friend. I said I did pretty poorly when I was playing around with day trading (paper trading), and he replied why don't you use some of your AI knowledge to see if you can build a smarter bot. So, here we are. Any other bot developers out there?
There is an "edit" button after you have posted a message. However, this button is only available during a limited period of time (1hour?). After that are you no longer able to edit your post.
The market is not a mechanical square math problem, that's your problem right there. Guys with advanced technical degrees fail to see and understand the art side of trading, the patience and timing and wisdom aspect. Their brains are conditioned to view the world as linear computer software programming with no room for deviation
