    Hi Guys,

I'm currently happy customer of Interactive Brokers and and will definitely keep my account there. But problem are their high margin requirements and lack of intraday margin. Therefore I need an additional broker with lower margin requirements.

Very important: I want to start right away trading! So getting comfortable with the basics of the new brokers platform and starting simple trades should be possible within a day. Registration process should be fast for Europeans as well as money transfer. Would also be nice if the Broker reimburses all tramsation fees, as does my CFD-Broker

I've considered three of the usual suspects:

    - Optimus Futures (Optimus Flow = adapted OEM Version of NanoTrader?)
    - AMP Futures (many Platforms to chose from, don't know which)
    - Nina Brokerage (NinjaTrader very widely used, very active user community, but maybe steep learning curve?)

They all have decent Margin requirements. I haven't dug into their commissions & fees so far, but think neither of them is exceedingly costly.

In the mid-/long-term I want to dig into simple script based/algorithmic trading, maybe with python. Simply means I just want to automate many things in order to trade more systematic and knock out emotions.

So right now I just need an additional broker for trading those specific futures, were IB's margins are way to high. Fasr registration process and easy to learn platform so that I can start trading within a week is important now.

Recomendations and comments on the Trion mentioned above are welcome!

switched to amp+tradingview for futures. TV is extremely easy to figure out and much more customizable than IBKR. as far as options go i cant imagine anyone being better than IBKR.

went to ninja first after leaving IBKR then quickly moved to amp...ninja might be the most overrated platform out there.

I'm just starting to read into options but have heard the same that IBKR should be top notch for options trading.
I've so far not worked with trading view but always wanted to give it a try as a charting tool. So opening an account with a broker who provides trading view as a platform might be a good idea.

Though I'm not sure whether in the long term a platform explicitly dedicated to future trading might be better. So far I have traded futures, even prohibitively huge position sizes, in an extremely primitive way. For the rest of the year I really want to professionalize my trading thoroughly before my carelessness kills me. I want to make it a part time profession and automate as much as possible in the respective strategies allow as I'm well aware that my emotions are still my dangerous main enemy.
I also want to dig deeper into volume- and order flow trading. Don't know whether trading view is suitable for these trading strategies.

I just got started with futures and have looked at AMP and Optimus. Optimus Flow is their own version of Quantower, which I happen to really like as a platform. AMP also offers the Quantower platform free when you sign up. I have come across some bugs with the Optimus Flow version, haven't tried the AMP one too much but it seems it may be updated more frequently. Optimus has excellent customer service though, while I don't have much experience with AMP customer service.

Anyhow, definitely checkout Quantower, it's a slick platform.
