Getting started in politics? Entry-level election?

What is a lower-level elected position that is generally considered a place to start in the U.S.?

Now typically called “animal control supervisor” or something similar.

The reality is that most politicians (in non-specialty areas) start their careers as city or town council members. Then go to state legislature then on to the national level.

 

Just become a reality star and go straight for the presidency. No political experience required
