The real tragedy if global warming is ocean acidification.... But no one talks about it

  2. Overall, our planet should become more biologically productive, even if a few species end up being “inconvenienced.”

When the methane clatherates in the world’s oceans dissolve, we will see a ramp up in global temperatures as methane is a much more potent greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide.

would anyone like to show us some sort of peer reviewed science showing man made co2 causes ocean warming?

that should be especially difficult because ocean warming precedes atmospheric co2 levels...
see this peer reviewed paper... one of many on the subject.

Just once I wish one of these agw nutters would explain ocean warming could be coming from many sources not just co2. Why did oceans warming in the past? I care about the oceans. If they can show man made co2 is warming oceans I would like to see the science.

27,634 garbage posts by the man who cannot learn. Its like a shit version of the movie Memento except Jem is not writing little notes for himself.

    What a waste of electricity.

  6. The ocean acidification is probably self-regulating over the long term. How much havoc it will create on shelled creatures in the short term is hard to determine.

I image if the oceans are near saturation of co2, the acidification will not get too much worse.

Ummm, no. In fact the next big extinction event is happening now. The finishing punch will be climate change. We are already seeing the effects.

  8. Ummm no, it is not self regulating as CO2 levels in the atmosphere continue to soar and they are no where near saturation levels. You don't know what you talking about. A collapse of the ocean ecosystems could be the end us. Most of the world's oxygen comes from there.

According to scientists who study ocean acidification in detail - ocean acidification is not caused by AGW - https://www.elitetrader.com/et/thre...matologists-agree.278244/page-13#post-3885898

In regards to coral reefs - the top causes of coral reef bleaching are Solar Irradiance, Subaerial Exposure, Sedimentation, Fresh Water Dilution, Inorganic Nutrients and Xenbiotics. AGW and CO2 have nothing to do with it. This has been reported by marine biologists who have studying reefs for years but has been ignored by those pushing "climate change".
