Gold is less of an industrial metal as copper. I would venture to say that copper is more correlated to EMS activities(FLEX,JBL,CLS,SAMN etc). For example, PCB manufacturing needs copper.
Gold is key part of high grade PCB manufacture. ENIG board finish. Much of the bond wires used in ICs are also gold. Don't expect to see much gold in you typical tv remote. Think more about high end defense, infrastructure, data processing.
"Gold ready for break out ..." Seems the article says the opposite. Cooper to break out because of Gold's ongoing bull run:- "Every secular bull market in gold I’ve seen has been followed by one in copper."
